Crown Digital (“we”, “us”) is an independent design and technology studio based in Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through crowndigital.com.au, why, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to give us. When you submit the enquiry / quote form, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, website (if provided), project type and any message you write.
How we use it
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and communicate with you about a potential or active project. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Service providers
The website is hosted on Vercel. Form submissions are delivered to our inbox via Resend, an email delivery provider. If email delivery is unavailable, the form falls back to opening a pre-filled message in your own email application, in which case no data passes through our systems until you send it. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside Australia.
Analytics & cookies
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and performance. These are privacy-focused and do not use tracking cookies or build advertising profiles. The site does not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Your browser may store small preferences (such as whether you have seen the intro animation) locally on your device; this never leaves your browser.
Retention
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to follow up and, where a project proceeds, for the life of our business relationship and any period required for tax or legal records. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@crowndigital.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
